The show promises to take fans on a journey through five decades of music, from the early days with Jeff Beck, The Faces and The Great American Songbook era to the present day, including hits such as Maggie May, Baby Jane and Sailing.

Known for his distinctive raspy voice, Rod is among the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 120 million records worldwide. His music career began in 1962 when he took up busking with a harmonica. In 1963, he joined the Dimensions as a harmonica player and vocalist.

In 2008, Billboard magazine ranked Stewart the 17th most successful artist on the Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists. A Grammy and Brit Award recipient, he was also voted at number 33 in Q Magazine's list of the 100 greatest singers of all time.

A spokesperson for show said: “Whether you’re a long-time fan of Rod Stewart or new to his music, this show promises to be a dynamic and fun packed experience. Get ready to be entertained, boogie along, sway to the music and maybe even feel like you’re Sailing through the nostalgic hits of Rod Stewart’s illustrious career.”
