Armed police respond to threats incident involving man reportedly carrying baton in Gordon Road area of Highcliffe
ARMED police stormed a Highcliffe street amid reports of a man acting in a threatening manner.
The alarm was raised around 12.50pm on Sunday, with the disturbance said to have taken place in the Gordon Road area.
There were further reports that the man had what was believed to be a baton.
Officers arrested a local man in his 30s on suspicion of threatening a person in possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
He was later bailed pending further enquiries.
